VIDEO: Obama’s Presidential Seal Falls Off Podium During Speech

President Obama’s speech at Fortune magazine’s “Most Powerful Women” summit Tuesday night was well-received by its Washington, DC audience – but the presidential seal fell flat.

Obama was mid-sentence when the presidential seal fell from his lectern and landed on the stage with a thud. “That’s all right. All of you know who I am,” the president quipped.

The president joked that staff members back stage were likely unnerved. “They’re sweating bullets back there right now,” he said with a laugh. “Where were we?”
