Donald Trump claims a group of 100 African-American religious leaders who had allegedly planned to endorse him were pressured out of doing so by "the Black lives Matter folks."

The Republican presidential hopeful's campaign notified reporters last week that Trump and dozens of black pastors would hold a joint news conference Monday, following a private meeting, to announce the group's endorsement of the billionaire.

Trump's campaign cancelled the presser without explanation in an email late Sunday evening.

"Probably some of the Black Lives Matter folks called them up [the black pastors] and said, 'Oh, you shouldn't be meeting with Trump because he believes all lives matter,'" Trump told MSNBC's Joe Scarborough Monday on MSNBC.
