O'Malley supports Biden entering Democratic race

Martin O'Malley expressed support for Vice President Joe Biden's potential entry into the 2016 race Sunday, praising Biden as a fellow "lifelong Democrat."

"I have a great deal of respect for Vice President Biden," O'Malley said on ABC's "This Week." "He's a very, very good and decent man. It would be nice to have at least one more lifelong Democrat in the race."

O'Malley, who has consistently ranked near the bottom of the Democratic primary field in recent polls, highlighted Biden's "wisdom" in calling for the vice president to join the race.

"I think his experience would add much to this Democratic conversation," O'Malley said.
