The “Game of Thrones” series finale Sunday night may have left some fans unhappy, but the return of one character stirred up a frenzy on social media over his all-grown-up look.

Robin Arryn, Lord of the Vale, appeared in the finale among the last of the remaining lords and ladies of Westeros to select a new ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. The young lord's blossoming from a once whimpering boy who still breastfed on his mother’s lap surprised many fans.

“Stop I cannot allow myself to think that Robin Arryn is hot right now,” one fan wrote.

“It (sic) think the message #GameOfThrones was trying to get across is to breastfeed until age 12,” another user joked.

Others wrote that Arryn's "glow up has them "bending the knee."

Another fan tweeted that they didn’t notice the latest craft services screwup because they were distracted by Arryn.

Other fans compared images of Arryn as a young boy with his “glow up” look during the finale, writing that it was the best part of the episode.

The actor who portrays Arryn, 18-year-old Lino Facioli, was himself surprised over the fans’ reactions to his return.

“Definitely didn’t expect my morning to start off like this,” the actor tweeted after the finale.

Arryn first appeared in Season 1 as the sickly boy of Lady Catelyn Stark's sister, Lysa Arryn.

He last appeared in Season 6 when Littlefinger left the young lord in The Eyrie to hone his not-so-great archery skills. His screen time in the finale was short but memorable for fans of the show.
