Two of country music's biggest stars came together to perform at the genre's most famous venue.
The duo was able to maintain a safe distance from one another during their performance as coronavirus continues to sweep the nation.
Their performance kicked off with a rendition of Underwood's "Jesus Take the Wheel." Other songs performed include "Whiskey Lullaby," "Ghost On the Stereo" and a cover of Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty’s song “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.”
“As long as the Opry keeps going, I have hope for country music and Nashville,” said Paisley during the performance, per ET Canada.
Referencing the space between herself and Paisley, 47, the 37-year-old Underwood joked: "This is like the river, 6ft apart, for the pandemic."
Because of the pandemic, performances at the opry have turned to the internet to reach audiences.
This month, fellow country stars Riley Green, Tenille Townes, Ashley McBryde and Mark Wills will all be welcomed to the legendary stage.
