“NCIS: Los Angeles” star Linda Hunt was hospitalized on Monday following a three-car wreck in Hollywood, a report stated.

Hunt, 73, was driving in a black BMW SUV when her vehicle, a sedan and another car were involved in a collision, TMZ reported. Witnesses told TMZ that the Academy Award-winning actress appeared “visibly shaken” and was helped to a chair on the sidewalk.

The media outlet reported that paramedics arrived at the scene and determined she should go to the hospital. The other people involved in the incident suffered minor injuries. The cause of the crash was under investigation, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Hunt received the Best Support Actress Academy Award in 1984 for her role in “The Year of Living Dangerously.” She has portrayed character Henrietta “Hetty” Lange on “NCIS: Los Angeles” since 2009.

Fox News has requested a comment from Hunt’s agents regarding the accident.
