Sofia Vergara may have been snubbed by the Emmys in the Best Supporting Actress category for the fourth year in a row, but on Sunday she took home another prize for the second straight year: the “my dress rips.”

The “Modern Family” star looked stunning in her low-cut lace gown that featured a v-neck and trumpet skirt and fit her like a glove.

But the Vera Wang gown did not stand up to the pressures of the night. It ripped.

The Colombian actress, who was nominated for “Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy” award but did not win, was seen fussing with the lace on the left side of her gown while her co-stars were speaking to the media backstage. When she stepped back, she revealed a tear.

Vergara, 41, said someone stepped on her dress. But it could be she jinxed herself.

Before the show the actress, who plays Gloria Pritchett on the hit ABC show "Modern Family," which took home an award for Best Comedy, stopped to speak with E! News’ Guiliana Rancic. While gushing about the gown, which she accessorized with emerald and diamond earrings by designer Lorraine Schwatz, she said she was wearing underwear from her new lingerie line for Kmart.

“But,” she added, “you can’t see that unless you rip the dress.”

This is not the first wardrobe malfunction Vergara has had. At last year’s Emmys, her stunning Zuhair Murad Couture gown split right down the butt.

Sunday's wardrobe malfunction did not stop the Latina beauty from celebrating with her co-stars the show's fourth consecutive win. She shared photos of herself on social media, one that included a caption: “Miley Cyrus this is where the twerk was invented. Colombia.”
