Barbara Walters was calling it like she sees it when she talked to Kim Kardashian and the rest of her family on her TV special that aired Wednesday night.

"You don't really act; you don't sing; you don't dance," Walters bluntly told the reality star during an interview taped for “Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011,” as reported by RadarOnline.com. "You don't have any -- forgive me -- any talent!"

Kim, flanked by mom Kris and sisters Khloe and Kourtney, defended her peculiar sort of fame, “I think it’s more of a challenge to go on a reality show and get people to fall in love with you for being you. So, there’s definitely a lot more pressure, I think, to be famous for being ourselves.”

Walters then grilled Kim on her infamous 2007 sex tape with R&B singer Ray J.

“You became famous. So, was it a good thing to have done?” asked Walters with an arched eyebrow.

Ever the lawyer’s daughter, Kim responded without actually answering the question, “I’ve made mistakes in my life, for sure.”

Mom Kris quickly chimed in, “And you’ve learned a lot from it.”

“How did you feel?,” asked Walters, turning to Kris. “It was devastating for the whole family. You cry yourself to sleep for a few nights, then you hire a really good attorney and try to make something better -- or, you know, happen.”

Happen it did, with a series of reality shows and a purported combined annual income $65 million.
