Mario Cimarro Stars in "Los herederos del monte"

Telenovela actor Mario Cimarro will star in Telemundo’s “Los herederos del monte.”

Telemundo selected Cimarro to be the protagonist of the new telenovela, according to EnelBrasero.com. This will be a reunion, of sorts, for Cimarro and the telenovela's female lead, Marlene Fabela, who starred together in "Gata salvaje."

The gossip web site reports how the new project is inspired by a Chilean production called “Hijos del monte.”

Cimarro has starred in other productions such as the popular Colombian novela "Pasión de gavilanes" and "El cuerpo del deseo."
