A German newspaper is reporting a 29-year-old Canadian porn actor accused of videotaping a gruesome murder before posting it on the internet has been arrested in Berlin.

Bild newspaper reported police sources confirming Luka Rocco Magnotta was apprehended Monday at an internet cafe in the city's Neu Koelln district.

Berlin prosecutors' spokesman Martin Steltner told The Associated Press a man wanted on an international arrest warrant was arrested in an internet cafe, but he could not confirm his identity pending further checks.

A Berlin police spokeswoman declined to comment.

Magnotta is wanted by Canadian authorities on first-degree murder and other charges. He is suspected of killing Jun Lin — a 33-year-old Chinese university student he dated — and mailing the victim's dismembered body parts to Canadian political parties.
