Pirates recall P Watson

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh Pirates recalled pitcher A Indianapolis on Saturday.

He will fill the roster spot of pitcher Paul Maholm, who was placed on the 15- day disabled list Friday with a left shoulder strain.

Watson, a lefty, has made 25 relief appearances with the Pirates this season, posting an 0-2 record with a 2.73 ERA.
