Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh Penguins signed their 2010 first-round draft pick, forward Beau Bennett, to a three-year, entry-level contract on Friday.
The 20-year-old Bennett was picked by the Penguins with the 20th overall selection in 2010. He has spent the past two seasons at the University of Denver, where he has accumulated 13 goals and 25 assists in 47 collegiate games.
