PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) — Organizers of an international soccer event scheduled for the Pontiac Silverdome say it has been canceled.

Organizer Pius Oleh tells the Detroit Free Press "all the teams didn't get a visa."

The original plan was to have five teams play over the weekend of Feb. 12. The matches were switched to May 21-23 and were to involve teams from Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Malaysia and Puerto Rico.

Finally, it was downsized to a one-day event with four area youth teams playing exhibition games followed by Kenya vs. Malaysia on Sunday.
