Matt Griffin rolled in a three-foot round leader Terry Pilkadaris and win the South Pacific Golf Open Championship.

Griffin closed with a five-under 67, while Pilkadaris managed a three-under 69. They ended at 15-under-par 273.

Griffin poured in a 35-footer for birdie on No. 18, the first extra hole, before Pilkadaris kicked in his three-footer for birdie.

Pilkadaris missed a 30-foot birdie chance on the second playoff hole to open the door for Griffin, who knocked in his three-footer for birdie and the win.

The victory was Griffin's first as professional.

Jason Norris missed the playoff by a stroke. He fired a six-under 66 in the final round to end at minus-14. Brad Shilton took fourth at 13-under-par 275 after shooting 69 in the final round.
