MIAMI -- A tea party style movement centered on children's issues is being launched in the Sunshine State.

The Children's Movement of Florida is branding itself the "milk party" for its advocacy of issues including pre-kindergarten, child health care, prenatal care and mentoring programs.

Organizers announced their campaign Monday in Miami. They say they'll hold a series of "milk party" rallies next month across the state.

The effort is backed by about $1 million in funding and a bipartisan group of lawmakers, businesspeople and advocates.
