Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton gaggled with reporters aboard Air Force One and says the President will receive a paper report from the Central Intelligence Agency today about the Detroit incident. Mr. Obama will also meet with John Brennan, his point man on Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, later today at the White House.
In other news, Burton says the President is still expected to make his push for more new jobs this week, something planned before the December 25th attack. "When you're President of the United States you've got to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time, so you can anticipate there's going to be a very heavy push to get Americans back to work, to get the economy as strong as it can be, " he told reporters.
