A new poll released Tuesday shows Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump leading Democrat Hillary Clinton by two points, which syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer said should not come as a surprise.

“I don’t think this is really complicated,” Krauthammer said Tuesday of the CNN/ORC poll on "Special Report with Bret Baier".

“Every bit of news about her is always about emails, the foundation, the corruption," he added.

Krauthammer said what he found most interesting was Trump’s support among Republicans jumped to 90 percent in the CNN/ORC poll, after previously being in the high 70s.

“That’s a huge difference,” he said. “If it holds and if it shows up in the other polls that will make a big difference."

He added that while Trump has been "up and down" in other previous polls, he's "relatively stable" compared to Clinton.
