In her latest initiative to support military members and their families, First Lady Michelle Obama will launch a two day, national tour with Dr. Jill Biden and some serious star power.

Martha Stewart, Jessica Simpson, and even Elmo from Sesame Street will participate in events focusing on support for military families from all sectors of society.

Starting at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, Martha Stewart will join Mrs. Obama and Dr. Biden to participate in a unit-wide baby shower for 40 expecting mothers whose husbands are active service members. Stewart will share her scrapbooking skills with the pregnant women.

The tour will continue through Texas, Colorado, and in Columbus Ohio, Nick Jonas of the ‘Jonas Brothers' and Sesame Street Muppet Elmo will give a concert honoring the National Guard.

But that's not the only concert on this tour. Pop star Jessica Simpson will perform Wednesday at Coors Field in Denver where the Air Force Academy baseball team will practice with the military children of Colorado.

Simpson isn't the only singer to join forces with the first lady. Next month Beyonce will perform a song for middle school students, encouraging them to stay active through dance. This comes as part of Mrs. Obama's "Lets Move" campaign to decrease childhood obesity.
