An alligator trying to catch a ride with Florida law enforcement officials was relocated earlier this week.

On Sunday, an alligator was found by dispatchers in the parking garage of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Administration Building, according to a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office.

In the Facebook post, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office called the incident "an on-brand Florida story."

"OK, it was more of a croak than a serenade but the message was clear ‘we've been trying to reach you about your vehicle's extended warranty,’ and nobody is a fan of those," the post added, joking.

In the post, the sheriff’s office said the dispatchers called deputies, who were able to remove the gator from the premises.
