Nicki Minaj dishes out relationship advice: Men want to be ‘pet like a dog’

Nicki Minaj has some relationship advice for all her fans.

“Men are kids at heart. They want to be nourished and pet like a dog,” she told Marie Claire magazine in their August issue.

The rapper advised readers that women shouldn’t go running after men.

“Don’t chase any man. Put your school first. Men love independent women,” she said.

Minaj also opened up to the magazine about a religious epiphany she had while on tour in 2012.

“I was praying every day, ‘You know what, Lord? I want to be a mom one day, and I want to start becoming the woman who I want to parent my child,’” she explained.

She said that in the immediate future, she plans to release at least three more albums before possibly transitioning into acting.

“One day, when I start getting a couple gray hairs, maybe it will all be only acting. I just never know…I’ve kind of become the poster child for doing the things that no one expects.”
