One of Meghan Markle’s former co-stars has divulged what she was like before she married into the royal family — and apparently, her role as the Duchess of Sussex fits.

Gregg Sulkin, who starred alongside Markle in the 2015 crime thriller “Anti-Social,” said the “Suits” actress is authentic and kind — much like a "real life" princess — in an interview on "Fair Game with Kristine Leahy" last week.

“Everybody does know her as a princess, but in real life, she genuinely is also like a princess,” Sulkin said. “She is one of the classiest, the nicest, one of the most sincere and genuine people I’ve ever met, truly.”

The 26-year-old “Runaways” actor also applauded the way she’s handled press coverage and criticism in the media.

“It hasn’t been easy for her and I think she has stuck to her guns, which is ‘when they go low, we go high’ sort of mentality and I think she’s done that and I think she’s been a class act,” he said.

Before Markle retired from acting in 2017, she spent six years as Rachel Zane on the set of the legal drama “Suits.”

According to Princess Diana’s biographer Andrew Morton, Markle was a “failure” as an actress before she landed the role in 2011.

"Let's not forget that, for ten years, her budding career as an actress was something of a failure," Morton said in the documentary "Meghan & The Markles: A Family At War," according to The Sun. "For almost a decade, Meghan auditioned for parts in movies, ads and game shows."

"She was kind of, at 30, over the hill, in Hollywood terms, when she got this gig in 'Suits,'" he claimed.

Markle, 37, and her husband Prince Harry, 34, are expecting their first child in late April.
