The royal family is constantly growing — and right now, so is Meghan Markle's adorable baby bump. The Duchess of Sussex is getting ready to enter the final stretch of her pregnancy and welcome her first child with Prince Harry in the spring.
Kensington Palace was eager to announce the upcoming new addition to the British family, saying in October that the newlyweds were "very please" to share the news.
"The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted for the couple and were able to congratulate them ... at the wedding in person,” the palace said in a statement.

In February, Markle gushed that Prince Harry is going to be the "best dad."
"There’s a big baby in there," joked Prince Harry in return at the Endeavour Fund Awards, according to ITV News royal producer Lizzie Robertson.

When is the baby due?
While speaking to fans during a stroll around Birkenhead, England in January, Markle revealed to a stranger that she was due in late April, though she wouldn't give an exact date, HELLO! Magazine reported.
“We asked her how her pregnancy was going and she said she was six months and she tapped her tummy,” local Carla Gandy told People.
It's possible the newborn and his or her cousin Prince Louis could share the same birth month. Prince Louis was born on April 23 — St. George's Day, the feast day of Saint George, a patron saint.
Boy or girl?
A young girl in Birkenhead asked Markle in January if she was expecting a boy or a girl. Of course, Markle grinned and said she wants it to be a surprise.
“Meghan said there are ‘strong opinions about [the baby's sex], but it’s a 50/50 split!’" well-wisher Jean Elliott told People.

However, Prince Harry apparently admitted in the past that he's hoping his first child is a girl.
"I hope it's a girl!" a woman in the crowd shouted out during an event for the Invictus Games in Sydney, Australia back in October.
Chuckling, Prince Harry replied, "So do I!"
Many British tabloids have questioned whether Markle will have twins. Right now, there's no reason to think that's the case. But if she did have twins, that would be extremely rare for the royal family.
The last time the royal family witnessed the birth of twins was in October 1430, according to Elle Magazine.
How's Markle’s health?
The former “Suits” star, 37, underwent a 12-week scan in early October and was said to be in good health, according to multiple reports.

Where will the delivery take place?
The palace hasn't released any official details about Markle's delivery plans yet, but it's likely she'll give birth at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, England — following in the royal family's footsteps.
Prince Harry, his older brother Prince William and William’s children with wife Kate Middleton (Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis) were all born in the hospital's private Lindo Wing.
Typically, the hospital starts putting up no parking signs outside of the hospital weeks before the expected due date.
Anything else I should know?
When the baby is born it will become seventh in line to the British throne — one step behind his 34-year-old father, Prince Harry, who is sixth in line.
The newborn’s uncle, 58-year-old Prince Andrew will be bumped down to the eighth slot. His daughters, 30-year-old Princess Beatrice and 28-year-old Princess Eugenie, would be ninth and tenth, respectively.
