A teeny bopper fan base has its perks when one of them becomes mayor of their town for a day.
That's what Justin Bieber found out after Caroline Gonzalez, 11, decreed that a street would be renamed 'Justin Bieber Way'.
Gonzalez was named mayor for a day in her town of Forney, Texas, after winning a contest designed to spark government interest in young people, according to the Washington Post.
"I like his music and I like him," Gonzalez told E! News. "And I thought, why not have a street in my hometown named after my favorite singer?"
Unfortunately, the bubbly Bieber love-fest was short lived. The sign was only scheduled to be up on Tuesday.
