It was one of the most brutal results shows Tuesday night on "Dancing With the Stars," as not one, but two couples got sent home.

Disney actor Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower were the first couple to be booted off, after an encore presentation of NFL hunk Donald Driver’s three-way jive, voted by the judges as one of the favorite routines from the previous evening.

"I am happy to add ballroom dancing to my super-duper dance moves," Fegan said with his head up high after getting eliminated.

For Fegan and Hightower, this should come as no surprise. The young couple had been in the bottom two continuously for several weeks.

Just last Tuesday, Fegan and Hightower battled it out in the DWTS duel with “Family Matters” actor Jaleel White and his partner Kim Johnson. After a heated Rumba action, the judges thought Fegan’s version of the dance was better than White's, and sent the actor packing.

More On This...

"It breaks my heart one of you has to go,” said judge and dance expert Len Goodman, who usually is not sentimental.

Still, he felt Fegan performed better in the duel.

It was a difficult decision for fellow judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba as well. But they, too, chose Fegan’s dance over White’s.

But Fegan knew his luck had come to an end. Even after receiving close to a perfect score on Monday, he and Hightower received the least amount of votes overall.

The competition carried on as more surprises kept unfolding.

Opera singer Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas had been on top of the leader board since day one on DWTS, but even this wasn’t enough to keep them safe from America sending them into jeopardy.

It came down to Jenkins and Ballas vs. actress Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Unfortunately for Gilbert, known as the little girl in the prairie, her luck ran out and she was eliminated on her birthday.

"It’s been a real blessing to have him,” said Gilbert of Chmerkovskiy. "[He’s] an incredible teacher and incredible friend."

"I'm amazed that I made it this far,” she continued. "It makes it an incredible birthday."

Chmerkovskiy then spoke about how much he loved Gilbert.

"To me she is the comeback kid,” he said. “ I'm so proud and honored to have met you.”
