Amanda Bynes made a rare return to Instagram on Friday to show off her latest look.

The 34-year-old former child star returned to the social media platform after deleting all of her former photos months ago and changing her name on the app to "Matte Black Online Store."

Wearing clear-rimmed glasses, a yellow and black flannel shirt and ripped jeans, Bynes flashed a smile to the camera. Her black hair was partially pulled back and she was still rocking a nose piercing and a black heart-shaped tattoo on her cheek.

She turned off the comments section on the photo and did not provide a caption.

The troubled star's name on the platform led fans to believe she may have something in the works when it comes to her fashion career. In 2019, she posted a picture of herself with a friend at her graduation from the Los Angeles-based Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising

She made headlines earlier this year after announcing her engagement to a man named Paul Michael. However, in March, Michael told In Touch the pair had split.

That same month, an attorney for Bynes told Fox News in a statement that the star was receiving mental health treatment.

"Any reports that Amanda is suffering from drug or alcohol addiction issues are completely false. She is seeking treatment for ongoing mental health issues," attorney David A. Esquibias told Fox News.

The attorney added: "We ask for privacy during this time, and for any speculation about her personal life from the public and the media to cease so Amanda can focus on getting better."

Just one day before, Bynes had posted -- and deleted -- a pregnancy announcement including an ultrasound with her name on it.
