Kate Middleton's Love Affair with Jenny Packham Couture

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is an inspiration to women across the globe for her seemingly effortless style, gorgeous hair, and seemingly natural beauty. But one thing the mother of England’s future king is also good at? Being a trendsetter with the help of one favored designer. PHOTOS: How To Recycle Your Wardrobe Like Kate Middleton Middleton, who has graced countless magazine covers and has the ability to make nearly anything she wears sell out within days, is known for her sought-after personal style. And let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to look like a royal for a day? READ: Queen Tells Kate To Wear Longer Skirts Fortunately for us, it's not difficult to find out who is the not-so mysterious woman behind many of her head-turning looks. PHOTOS: Kate Middleton's Many Royal Looks British designer Jenny Packham describes herself as a creator of evening gowns and bridal wear, but she’s best-known for having Middleton as her biggest fan. The Telegraph reports that Packham first hit headlines in 2010 when she was a contender for Middleton’s wedding dress. While that honor was eventually given to Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen, the Duchess continues to show off many of Packham’s glamorous creations. Celeb Stylist Phillip Bloch on Dressing Oscar Nominees and His Favorite Gowns

What does it take to clothe an Academy Award nominee? As Fox 411 correspondent Ashley Dvorkin found out from celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch, it actually takes "a small village." READ: Hair and Makeup Secrets From Celebrity Glam Squads "We're a whole glam-squad, basically," says Bloch, who has dressed A-listers including Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez for their glamorous red-carpet appearances. "There's the stylists, and however many assistants we have," along with hair and makeup artists, manicurists, and publicists and designers (and their respective entourages), he explains. Bloch also needs people to cart around all of the couture dresses he brings to a fitting; he "tends to bring about a hundred" to each one, just to make sure he finds the perfect match for his client. PHOTOS: The Most Daring Red-Carpet Dresses of All Time The clients, on the other hand, needn't worry about much more than making a decision. Bloch says most of the clothes and jewelry are borrowed — free of charge — but celebs sometimes pitch in to pay when they want something specific. One example in particular is Renee Zellweger's gown from the 2001 Academy Awards. "When she wore this yellow Jean Desses dress, which was a vintage dress that she got from [vintage dealer] Lily et Cie, that she actually paid for herself." (Photo below). PHOTO: Renee Zellweger is Almost Unrecognizable These Days His all-time favorite, however, happens to be a dress worn by one of his own clients in 2002. "I'm a little prejudiced, but I have to say Halle Berry when she won in her Elie Saab dress. We had a magic moment." (He's also partial to Julia Roberts' vintage Valentino dress at the 2001 Oscars — see it below.) For more of Bloch's Academy Awards favorites (and least favorites), catch up with the Fox 411 video above.

Celebs Love Their Daring Dresses

Forget about covering up those famous assets. When it comes to the red carpet, skin is always in. PHOTOS: Celebs Who Wore Low Low Cut Dresses To The 2014 Oscars It’s not shocking that celebs love flaunting their svelte selves in front of photographers and lately, it seems like they’re willing to do just about anything to stir headlines. From going commando to discovering unique ways to make use of leftover duct tape, there’s nothing these stars won’t do to make their mark even more indelible. VOTE: Ireland Baldwin Low-Cut Dress -- Too Risque? But if you think the racy trend will fizz out anytime soon, guess again. PHOTOS: Kim Kardashian's Revealing Outfits “Celebrity style, especially when it pertains to the music industry, is all about creative self-expression,” explains Los Angeles-based personal stylist and image consultant Laurie Brucker. “Being able to be as raw as naked is the only free thing a star can do to break from their personal life shackles. It’s incredibly liberating to actually feel free and open in your body when in your world you’re being boxed in for every move you make. Celebrities don’t live freely and this means self-expression is true freedom to be who and what they want to be.” PHOTOS: Sheer and Cut-Out Dresses Making a Splash It also helps if you have a heaven-sent figure that just has to be shown off. READ: Paris Hilton Goes Commando, Flashes Nearly Everything Brucker agrees that the daring dresses making the rounds are not for the timid nor should they be worn for more ordinary, everyday affairs. However, the demand to see and show more will only continue to increase. PHOTOS: Mariah Carey Dress Defies Gravity “Unfortunately, as the media keeps pushing celebrities to the breaking points, I expect that nakedness, blunt, and vulgar wardrobe for reaction will always be a ‘wrecking ball’ in all of our walls,”  she says. PHOTOS: Celebs Love Their Crop Tops Some of these scandalous gowns will either entice or nauseate, but all are certain to make your jaw drop.
