But on the red carpet, SJP will always add a headpiece or some odd color choice of shoes to make her outfit more fashion forward. It’s all about thinking outside the box.”

AMC’s hit television series, which is scheduled to debut the first half of its final season April 13, introduced us to the sinfully seductive Hendricks, whose gravity-defying curves made male viewers, well, mad men. Whether it’s her fiery tresses, pouty lips, or simply that body, there’s no denying the 38-year-old model/actress from Tennessee is adored as sexy office manager Joan Holloway.
But the road to being Esquire’s “Sexiest Woman Alive” wasn’t an easy one for this star. Earlier this year, Hendricks revealed how she overcame pressure from Hollywood to slim down, preferring to focus on her passion for acting over constant dieting.

“I have faced rejection in this business because of my appearance, but that has only mad me stronger and more determined,” says Hendricks to Express UK. “That’s one characteristic that I share with Joan, although in other ways we are very different people. However, it’s not as simple as simply ditching the bra.

“A deep plunge draws the eye to the center, creating the illusion of a longer, thinner torso,” explains image consultant Thea Wood. “However, if the garment is tight and bulges around the plunge, it can distort and ruin the effect. If you have a round face, this neckline can make it look fuller, so I’d suggest trying a scoop neck instead.”
