A California physician's assistant was arrested after allegedly kidnapping and raping multiple women over the past 18 months, Fox40.com reported.

Officers pulled over Lonnie Scott Keith’s sedan in Chico after observing a traffic violation. The officers noticed that the rear passenger area had blankets and bedding covering the windows.

After a search, officers discovered equipment Keith allegedly used in sexual assaults, Fox40.com reported.

Police had reportedly been investigating numerous sexual assaults in which a man forced college-aged woman into the back of his car and injected them with a sedative.

According to Fox40.com, two of Keith's victims reported having their hands and feet bound with zip ties and eyes covered with tape.  The suspect also reportedly wore a nylon stocking over his face in both incidents

Police found two syringes loaded with an unknown substance, gloves, nylons and adhesive tape cut into strips in the covered back-seat area, as well as handcuffs, metal leg restraints and vials of prescription drugs in the passenger seat.

Keith is married with four children and has no prior arrests.
