Even Willie can’t understand Uncle Si
It’s good to know we’re not alone in being unable to decipher Si’s jumbled words. “I did an event down in Cancun, and the show actually came on, and I thought about ‘Who has to translate Uncle Si?’” Willie mused. “We don’t know what he’s talking about so good luck translating him.”

The beards haven’t always been around
Jase Roberton’s wife, a self-proclaimed “yuppie girl,” said her husband’s beard used to disappear after hunting season ended. “The beard came just a few years [after we met] just because of hunting season, but it just lasted for hunting season,” Missy said. “The first day after hunting season, he would shave it off, and I got my man back.” But once “Duck Dynasty” took off, Jase’s facial hair became permanent. “Whenever the beard started bringing in the money, he just kept the beard.”

The Robertson’s have ‘Duck Dynasty’ viewing parties
Think “Duck Dynasty” is hilarious? The Robertson family agrees. The whole motley crew watches the show together at Willie and Korie’s house every Wednesday night. “We have church on Wednesday night, so everybody comes straight from church here,” Korie revealed. “Every Wednesday, kids and all. And we actually love to watch it together because we laugh just like everybody else.”

Phil knows a thing or two about politics
“If I were in politics and if you ever get me in the White House, trust me, there’s a big change coming,” Phil said. “What happened to America,” Phil assessed, “We lost our roots.” He said each person should make it their ambition to “live a quiet life” and work for themselves so they “won’t have to be dependent on anyone.”

Yes, Si is “that crazy”
Speaking in third-person Uncle Si explained: “The fans always ask me ‘Is Si that crazy in real life?’ and I said ‘No, hey, he tones it down for television.’” Enough said.
