It's official: Paulina Rubio and Kelly Rowland will be joining Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell as judges on the next season of “The X Factor.”

Cowell, the show's creator and producer, made a formal announcement on Monday that the Mexican singer and former Destiny's Child member would be joining the show, filling the seats left by Britney Spears and L.A. Reid.

"Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi this is going to be a fun panel," Cowell said in a statement.

"It's taken more than a decade, but I'm delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!)," Cowell added.

"It just feels like the time to do something different."

Rubio herself is beyond excited to be a part of the show.

"I love 'The X Factor'! I can't wait to find the next big music star here in America," the Mexican told E! News.

"I'm so thrilled to be part of the show as a judge. Simon, be careful what you wish for, let's see if you are ready to handle me, empieza la fiesta, amigo!"

The new season begins shooting on Tuesday, in Charleston, N.C.

Rubio served as a judge on La Voz…Mexico and is also slated to be a coach on "La Voz Kids" (Kids Voice), which Telemundo will premiere next spring.
