Luis Miguel and Marc Anthony will serenade concert-goers at this year’s 53rd Viña del Mar Festival in Chile.

The international music festival, held annually during February, is considered by some to be the most important musical event in South America.

Held at the Qúinta Vergara outside the Chilean port city of Valparaiso, the amphitheater seats 15,000 fans.

The week-long festival, which will takes place this year from Feb. 22 to 27, marks Luis Miguel’s first performance at the festival in 18 years.

When fans heard Luis Miguel would be opening the festival, tickets sold out in a matter of hours.

Following Luis Miguel’s opening performance, Marc Anthony will headline the second night of the festival.

This year’s only non-Latino performer is British artist Morrissey, the former front man of the iconic 90’s alternative rock band The Smiths.

A live broadcast of the event will be televised in 20 countries throughout Europe and the Americas.

While down in South America for the festival, Miguel made a stop in Uruguay before his highly anticipated return at Viña del Mar.

First reported by EFE, on Saturday Miguel was seen living the high life at a luxurious seaside resort in Uruguay where the singer checked into a $7,500 a night suite.

Before checking into the resort, where the 41-year-old singer performed on Monday, Miguel had a list of demands for his accommodations including a constant room temperature of 73 degrees Fahrenheit, vanilla candles, flower arrangements, and special tequila from México.

During his stay, Miguel kept his entourage, including his agent, housekeeper and two bodyguards, by his side at all times.
