We're not saying Bradley Cooper isn't hot. But even he seems a little surprised about being named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive of 2011.
"I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this [title]," the 36-year-old star of "The Hangover" told the mag. "I think I'm a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying."
A quick scan of Google images proves this to be true. But this blue-eyed Georgetown grad does have a way with the ladies -- he dated Renée Zellweger for two years until their split in March, and he was recently rumored to be dating Jennifer Lopez. Today, he says he's single -- but not a Hollywood player.
"If you're a single man and you happen to be in this business," he told the mag, "you're deemed a player. But I don't see myself as a ladies' man."
We had our eye on Ryan Gosling for this year's "Sexiest" prize, but we have to admit that Cooper is a step up from some of People's previous choices. From Mel Gibson to Nick Nolte, let us know: Who's the lamest "Sexiest Man Alive" ever?
