Xavier is heading into the Atlantic 10 tournament knowing it needs to be there at the end to extend its March streak.

The Musketeers (17-13) are one of only eight teams to reach the NCAA tournament each of the last seven seasons. They head into the A-10 tournament, which is being held at the Barclays Center in New York for the first time, knowing it's their only path to another NCAA berth. They play Saint Joseph's on Wednesday.

The Musketeers have won the A-10 tournament four times, most recently in 2006 when it was played in Cincinnati.

It could be Xavier's final A-10 tournament. The Musketeers could be invited to join seven Catholic schools that are re-forming the Big East as a basketball league.
