Latif Rivers scored a season-high 30 points and Wagner snapped a two-game losing streak by defeating Quinnipiac 90-80 Thursday night.

The Seahawks (9-9, 5-2 Northeast Conference) got off to a slow start, allowing an 11-0 run early that put them behind. Quinnipiac shaved the Wagner lead to two points (36-34) by halftime.

Rivers made 7 of 12 shots from the field, including 4 of 6 from 3-point range, and went 12 of 12 from the free-throw line.

James Johnson led Quinnipiac with 24 points and Dominic Langston added 15. The Bobcats, who came into the game as the nation's top rebounding team (43.1 per game), won the battle of the boards 29-20.

Chris Martin added 16 points and Tyler Murray had 11 for the Seahawks.
