Swansea, Wales – Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer has signed a new four-year contract with the club that will see him remain at the Liberty Stadium until July 2017.
Dyer joined the Swans from Southampton in 2009, and has played a big role in helping Swansea gain promotion to the top flight as well as remain in the Premiership.
The 25-year-old's contract was due to expire at the end of the season, but he was pleased to sign an extension to secure his future at Swansea.
"I've been here four years now, and I wanted to stay at Swansea," Dyer told the club's official website.
"I didn't even think about going anywhere else, so it is nice to get it all sorted. We've made a lot of progression here as a club, and I feel I have progressed too. I am still trying to improve as a footballer and I feel I can do that here."
Dyer netted a brace in Swansea's League Cup final win over Bradford City in February, and he totaled three goals and four assists in 37 Premiership appearances last season.
