San Jose acquires Alexandre from Real Salt Lake

The San Jose Earthquakes acquired midfielder round pick in the 2012 Major League Soccer Supplemental Draft.

Capped nine times for Haiti, the 25-year-old Alexandre set career highs last season in matches played (19) and games started (nine). The former first-round pick scored his first career goal, and added two assists.

"Jean is a very versatile attacking midfielder with a great upside and we look forward to having him here in San Jose," said Earthquakes general manager of soccer operations John Doyle.

In addition to league play, Alexandre played a role in Real Salt Lake's run to the CONCACAF Champions League final last season.
