Jamaal Magloire, who was born in Toronto, became the first Canadian to sign with the Raptors in the team's history. He inked an undisclosed contract on Friday.

The 33-year-old Magloire, an 11-year NBA veteran, attended Eastern School of Commerce in Toronto. He comes to the Raptors after spending the past three seasons with the Miami Heat. Last year, he averaged 1.9 points in 18 contests.

The 6-foot-11 Magloire owns career averages of 7.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 22.1 minutes in 646 regular season outings. having also played for the Hornets, Bucks, Trail Blazers, Nets, and Mavericks.
