Raptors' Lowry injures ankle

Oklahoma City, OK – Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry exited Tuesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder late in the first half with a right ankle injury.

Lowry hurt himself after landing awkwardly on the foot of Oklahoma City's Serge Ibaka while stationed underneath the basket with 1:29 remaining in the second quarter. He immediately went to the locker room and did not return to the contest for the second half.

The seventh-year pro had just two points on 1-of-4 shooting along with four assists in 17 minutes prior to departing.

Lowry, acquired by the Raptors in a trade with Houston this past July, had gotten off to a very strong start with his new team. Through Toronto's first three games, the 26-year-old was averaging 23.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 3.7 steals per outing.
