Philadelphia, PA – The Washington Nationals reinstated right- day disabled list prior to Tuesday's doubleheader with the Phillies.
Mattheus was placed on the DL with a right shoulder strain on August 26.
The 27-year-old rookie is 2-2 this season with a 2.40 earned run average in 32 games for the Nationals.
