Monchengladbach signs Ter Stegen to extension

Monchengladbach, Germany – Monchengladbach signed 19-year-old 15 season.

Ter Stegen had a deal through the 2013-14 season, but after a strong start to the current campaign, was locked up for another year.

The Germany Under-19 international has made 18 Bundesliga appearances, and has allowed just nine goals this season as Gladbach has used a season-opening win at Bayern Munich to remain in the European places after 12 matches.

Monchengladbach is fourth in the standings, five points behind leaders Bayern.
