Malaga, Spain – Malaga confirmed that the club has signed striker Roque Santa Cruz on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
Santa Cruz joined City from Blackburn in 2009 but failed to live up to expectations with the club as he scored just four goals in his time at the Etihad Stadium.
The Paraguay international spent last season in La Liga with Real Betis, where he netted seven league goals in 21 matches.
