Florham Park, NJ – New York Jets defensive lineman Mike DeVito is questionable for Sunday's game against San Diego because of a knee injury.
Jets head coach Rex Ryan said DeVito "kind of got caught up in a pile" during practice and had his knee rolled on.
DeVito had an MRI on the knee which did not find any structural damage and Ryan said it wasn't an injury that would require surgery. DeVito, who didn't practice Friday, has started 16 games in the last two seasons for the Jets.
"I don't know exactly what it is, but we had him checked out," Ryan said. "He checked out fine. It's just he's awful sore right now."
Center Nick Mangold was listed as questionable, too, with his ankle injury but Ryan expected that he would play for the third week in a row.
