Milwaukee, WI – Corey Hart went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, one of four round-trippers hit by the Brewers in a 9-6 win over the Astros, Milwaukee's 11th straight over its NL Central rival.
Alex Gonzalez and Nyjer Morgan each had three of Milwaukee's 13 hits, while Rickie Weeks, Travis Ishikawa and Carlos Gomez all went deep in the victory.
The offensive explosion allowed Randy Wolf (1-2) to get in the win column for the first time this season after the lefty allowed two runs on four hits and four walks over six innings.
"Offensively a lot of guys contributed. It was late, but it was nice to see," Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said.
Bud Norris (1-1) was tagged for seven runs on nine hits in 5 2/3 innings for the Astros, who have dropped eight of their last 10, including a 6-5 decision in the opener of this three-game series on Monday.
"They got seven runs off [Norris] off the long ball. Other than that he pitched well," Astros manager Brad Mills said of his starter.
Jose Altuve went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in defeat.
Trailing 2-1 in the sixth, Houston's Carlos Lee doubled past a diving Ryan Braun in left-center to plate J.D. Martinez from first base.
The tie game lasted all of two batters in the bottom half, as Aramis Ramirez led off with a single and Hart followed with his fifth home run of the year.
Norris remained on the hill with two on and two outs later in the inning, and Weeks ended his outing with a back-breaking home run to left-center.
Kameron Loe, who was reinstated from the bereavement list Tuesday, gave up three singles to begin the away seventh, but limited the damage to Martinez's run-scoring groundout.
Gonzalez's RBI single in the bottom half made it 8-3, and Houston inched closer with three runs in the eighth, two coming on run-scoring hits by Chris Johnson and Jed Lowrie and the other on Justin Maxwell's pinch-hit sacrifice fly.
Gomez led off the eighth with his first career pinch-hit home run, and John Axford shook off a leadoff single in the ninth to record his fourth save.
Ishikawa countered Altuve's solo blast in the second with a two-run shot in the fifth, his first homer in his 11th game as a Brewer.
