Petr Sykora is back for another stint with New Jersey.

According to TSN of Canada, the Devils signed the veteran forward to a one- year contract worth $650,000 on Wednesday.

Sykora, 34, did not play in the NHL last season, splitting time between Dynamo Minsk of the KHL and Plzen of his native Czech Republic.

New Jersey originally drafted Sykora 18th overall in 1995. He won a Stanley Cup with the Devils in 2000 and another as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins nine years later.

Sykora has registered 302 goals and 375 assists in 935 career games with the Devils, Ducks, Rangers, Oilers, Penguins and Wild.
