London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - The 2015 opening-round Davis Cup tie between host Great Britain and the United States will be held in Glasgow from March 6-8.
Andy Murray will return to his native Scotland for the best-of-five battle, which will be staged at Emirates Arena.
It will mark Britain's first Davis Cup match since Murray came out in favor of Scottish independence. Voters rejected independence in a referendum in September.
Murray led the Brits to a 3-1 victory over the U.S. in the first round in San Diego earlier this year.
The 32-time champion U.S. is 11-8 all-time versus the nine-time winner Britain, with the 2014 meeting marking their first clash in 15 years. The Americans had won the previous four matchups, dating back to 1937. They first met in the first year of the competition way back in 1900.
The winner in Glasgow will meet the France-Germany victor in the World Group quarterfinals in July.
