Bolts acquire Pouliot from Bruins

The Tampa Bay Lightning acquired forward Benoit Pouliot from the Boston Bruins in exchange for forward Michel Ouellet and a fifth-round selection in this year's draft.

Pouliot recorded 16 goals and 16 assists in 74 games for Boston last season, his first with the franchise.

Over 257 NHL games in six seasons with the Wild, Canadiens and Bruins, the 25- year-old Ontario native has collected 53 goals and 104 points.

Ouellet hasn't played in the NHL since a three-game stint in 2008-09 with Vancouver. He notched 52 goals and 116 points in 190 contests for Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay and the Canucks from 2005-09.
