The ATP has named Brad Drewett its new executive chairman and president.

Drewett, a former player and current ATP senior executive, will begin his role January 1. The ATP board of directors unanimously voted to give him a three- year appointment.

The 53-year-old Drewett currently serves as CEO of the ATP International Group, overseeing operations in the Middle East, Asia and Pacific regions since 1999.

Drewett won two ATP World Tour singles titles and represented Australia in the Davis Cup during as 12-year career.
