Adriano sidelined by hamstring problem
Barcelona, Spain – Barcelona defender Adriano could be out for up to six weeks because of a hamstring injury, the club revealed on Monday.
The former Sevilla man had to be taken off after 23 minutes of Barcelona's 3-1 victory against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday after he injured his hamstring while lunging for a pass from teammate from Andres Iniesta.
Adriano now looks likely to miss both legs of his team's Champions League quarterfinal meeting with PSG, while league matches against Celta Vigo, Mallorca and Real Zaragoza are also in doubt.
In 18 La Liga games for the Catalan side this season, Adriano has netted five goals.
