The PGA Tour and its partner organizations repudiated Donald Trump’s comments on illegal immigrants Wednesday, throwing into question the tour’s relationship with the Republican presidential candidate.

Trump’s advocacy against illegal immigration has sparked a left-wing activist pressure campaign to force Trump’s business partners to cut ties with him.

Trump, who owns several golf courses that host PGA Tour events, told The Golf Channel that he doesn’t expect the PGA Tour to abandon him, saying, “I’ve had tremendous support from the golf world, because they all know I’m right. I’ve been great to golf. I’ve been investing while everybody else was fleeing.”

But the PGA Tour released a joint statement Wednesday with other organizations including the female LPGA and the United States Golf Association smacking back at the Donald.

“In response to Mr. Trump’s comments about the golf industry ‘knowing he is right’ in regards to his recent statements about Mexican immigrants, we feel compelled to clarify that those remarks do not reflect the views of our organizations,” the golf groups said.

“While the LPGA, PGA of America, PGA Tour and USGA do not usually comment on Presidential politics, Mr. Trump’s comments are inconsistent with our strong commitment to an inclusive and welcoming environment in the game of golf.”

The PGA of America announced its partnership with Trump last year, picking Trump courses as the sites for the 2017 Senior PGA Championship and the 2022 PGA Championship.

Trump’s comments already cost him his “Apprentice” and Miss Universe shows on NBC, after NBCUniversal ended its business relationship with Trump over his statements.
