A Washington man is on a mission to save a Little Caesars shop located inside a shuttering Kmart.
Loyal customer Eric Hennies, 29, of Spokane, Washington, has launched a campaign on Facebook in order to save the pizza chain location that will close along with the Kmart store.
Hennies told Fox News he started his “Save Little Caesars in Kmart on Sprague” for “selfish intentions” but realized he wanted to help the employees as well.

“It became more about saving this Little Caesars crew who have worked together day-in and day-out to continuously churn out good pizza. This is something special that you only get from a group of people who are a real team and all care about what they do - even if that's making pizza,” Hennies said.
Hennies said he hoped to raise awareness so the company would be able to get the employees their own location.
“Hopefully we can raise enough awareness and gain enough support that either Little Caesars corporate will build this crew a location, or that the district manager can try to refranchise ($300,000), or that U-Haul will wise up and let them stay in the building - which would save them a fortune in damages from people running into the low overhanging drive-thru signs at other fast food restaurants,” he said.

U-Haul is planning over taking over the building after the store closes, KREM reported.
Hennies and some supporters were planning on holding a vigil on Feb. 2, the store’s final day of business.
“Yeah, I still want to Save Little Caesars in Kmart on Sprague for selfish reasons, but the selfless part of me just wants to save a few jobs, try to bring together a community, and make a few smiles in the process,” he said.
